Hello, I’m Jane a Personal Trainer and Pilates instructor at PTM Fitness I hope you enjoy reading a little bit about me. I have studied how to apply the principles of nutrition to support client goals as part of an exercise and physical activity programme. I’ve studied anatomy and physiology including the cardio-respiratory system, musculoskeletal system, postural and core stability, and the nervous, endocrine and energy systems (which includes food and their nutrient composition) and their relation to exercise and health.

As well as my Personal Training clients I also have groups for Pilates, which you can also book as a one-to-one session. This is great for balance, posture, strength and flexibility. It’s not an easy option, even Premiership footballers and Rugby players attend Pilates sessions.

I love meeting new people and helping them reach their goals. My sessions mix hard work and fun. Recently I’m finding that clients who are looking to lose weight have ‘tried everything’ and they often say ‘nothing seems to work,’ or they lose the weight and ‘put it straight back on again.’ I explain to them how certain foods effect their bodies and how they can get their own bodies to burn fat by simply changing what they eat and when they eat.
