Amanda Jemmerson
(she/her)

Having a keen interest in people, especially children and young adults, I had the opportunity to witness the positive impact of mental well-being support in a primary school. This experience instilled in me great respect for those working in this field and inspired me to become a counsellor.

A significant bereavement in my life led me to re-evaluate and pursue my passion to connect with others and develop my skills. Volunteering as a counsellor in a bereavement centre gave me hope and a better understanding of the painful process people experience.

Currently, I work as a counsellor in a primary and secondary school, and I offer private sessions through Elephant Rooms. I am passionate about working with people to improve their well-being and enhance their lives, and I have a person-centred approach with a focus on creativity.
