It’s better to travel than to arrive could be said by many Sun Sagittarius folk like me.  As a child I was often feeling poorly and used to spend weeks in bed at a time.  Grammar school felt like a nightmare and the feeling continued when at aged 15 years I joined the Royal Navy.  My only consolation was the opportunities to visit other countries and cultures and to provide me with an ability to consider situations from many different perspectives.
When I left service life as a neurodivergent misfit I journeyed through psychology and psychiatry  training to be a psychiatric nurse.  This journey then split two ways: professionally into social work and personally into astrology.  I specialised in working with young people and went to Derby University to study systemic practice and family therapy.  I attended Astrology classes led by Geoffrey Cornelius and much later gained a Diploma in Astrology.
Working within the local mental health trust I learned how to work therapeutically using compassion and mindfulness, including for myself.  Now in retirement I can offer astrology, mental health experience and mindfulness as ways of supporting others.
