In the year 2000 my husband and I moved to the USA, it wasn’t a move that I coped well with and I became severely depressed and anxious, that is when I discovered Kundalini yoga; it was recommended to me to help me get through a challenging time and from the very first class I loved it!

Through regular practice I began to find my old self and get back on with my life, so much so, I decided that I wanted to help others who may be struggling and the best way to do that was to become a teacher. In 2001 we moved back to the UK, where I discovered yoga was hardly known or taught and doctors were even advising against it! I found this frustrating, from my own experiences I knew that yoga could benefit so many people, both mentally and physically so I was determined to spread the word.

For the past 21 years that is what I have been doing, I love teaching as much today as I did in my very first classes, there is no greater feeling than when a student comes and tells me about how yoga has helped them and the changes it has bought into their lives.

Yoga saved me and never stops rewarding me.
