Emma Jolly
(she/her)
My name is Emma and my journey into becoming a support group facilitator has been a remarkable one. I stepped through the colourful doors at the Elephant rooms over three years ago and my life changed in an instant.
I came to the Elephant rooms lost and in need of support. Helen the owner of the elephant rooms supplied me with a fantastic counsellor. Working with a counsellor was something I was sceptical about, having already worked with one with no success. This time it was a big success and my whole outlook on life started looking so much brighter. I have stepped away from my retail career and I'm now training to be a counsellor myself.
I feel so lucky to be part of the team here at the Elephant rooms.
I have been running the support group for nearly two years and I love it. The group has grown considerably showing just how amazing the support offered here is. I feel it is important to give back and running this group allows me to do that.
The Elephant rooms is a beautiful, peaceful and loving place. There is so much on offer, you're sure to find something that you enjoy. Taichi is something im currently doing and i really enjoy these classes.
I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity and the time to discover my true self.
