The New Moon is a fantastic time for renewal, to set intentions and to manifest.
The world is a busy place with lots of noise, and it can feel like we’re being pulled in different directions. Attuning to natural rhythms can help us live more purposefully. The dark sky of the New Moon signals the end of one lunar cycle and the birth of another, offering the opportunity to clear out stagnant energy and move forward with intention.
We would love to invite you to sit around the fire with us under the New Moon. We believe sitting in circle around a fire is connecting to an old way of being, that we feel deep within our bones.
Like the Druids and Celts before us, we have a great reverence for trees. During this series of circles, we will be honouring trees in the Ogham Calender, where each new moon is associated with a sacred tree.
We will be honouring the great Elder during our first gathering in November. Associated with endings and transformation, the Elder reminds us we are living in an endless cycle of change. We will honour the Elder and her magic and medicine.
This circle is open to anyone with a curious mind with an open heart and mind. No experience or belief system necessary, all welcome.
Please note: there is no general parking at the site, on-street parking is available around Elephant Rooms in Draycott, west of South Street. UpperDown meadow is about a ten minute walk from there, ask for directions if you’re not sure.
