Tai Chi was officially recognised by UNESCO in 2021 as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. In 2026, for the first time, we celebrate the formal UNESCO designation of 21 March as International Taijiquan Day. To mark this special occasion - aligning nicely to the spring equinox - we invite you to join Qigong with Angela on a free-of-charge event at the Elephant Rooms in Draycott, where we shall be sharing a guided taster session of Tai Chi, a taster of the Chinese art of paper cutting, and a taster of Chinese tea! Whilst this event is free-of-charge, please book your place with Angela, as spaces are very limited.
Start time 1 pm, duration 90 minutes to experience different aspects of Chinese culture on International Tai Chi Day!
